I’m often amazed at the creativity some couples bring to their wedding. It can really can take personalising your big day to a whole new level. Check out Nikki & Dave’s wedding at South Farm. This super handy couple made loads of cool stuff to dress the venue including over 1000 origami birds that they folded themselves. Wow. Vintage / rustic themes are open to lots of DIY input as can be seen at Jess & Adrian’s teepee wedding. And of course if you’re planning a wedding on a budget, doing stuff yourselves can save loads of money. Tamar and Nick employed a considerable amount of skill and creativity to keep their budget in check for their Danby Castle wedding. Just take a look at that homemade cake, all the table decorations they put together and Tamar even designed and made her own dress. Mad skills!
