2013 ~ The Big Round Up!

As 2014 is ushered in, it’s time to take stock and reflect on the year that has come to pass. And what a year…. I photographed 40 weddings in castles and barns, stately homes and art galleries, farms and fields, a boat club, an industrial museum and of course cathedrals and churches, even the church that Shakespeare’s buried in! I met some amazing people and made a load of new friends as well as catching up with some old ones. And I also got to see things from the other side of the fence, enjoying the immense privilege of being best man twice. It truly has been a stellar 12 months.

If you’ve come to this post, you’re here to see the photos so I won’t waffle on much more. It would remiss of me though, not to take this chance to extend a few thanks. First and foremost to all my couples from 2013. You all had a choice, so for you to choose me to share with you and document the biggest day of your life is something I find very humbling. It was a complete pleasure meeting and working with you all. Thank you for allowing me to call this thing I love a job! Thanks to my amazing photographer friends – I love how collaborative this industry is. This year I’ve had the chance to take photographs, share knowledge, laugh and dance with some amazingly talented people. You guys rock! And finally, thanks to my very best friend: you’re an awesome mum and an amazing and very patient wife. X

So upwards and onwards to 2014. Let’s take this shit to a whole new level! But before we leave, here’s some of my favourite wedding and engagement photos from the year that was 2013. See you on the flipside!
